Let’s Work Together

Hi, I’m Jade Aphrodite, a London-based Director of Photography.

My work is rooted in people, feeling and story. I love making films that feel honest, cinematic and emotionally present, whether that’s a small documentary moment, a live event, a branded piece or something more experimental.

I’ve worked across production and post for over ten years, from shooting on set to editing, colour, sound and delivery. I mostly work in commercial and branded production, but I’m especially drawn to projects that centre queer, trans and underrepresented communities.

I’m currently in-house at Nothing Technology and I’m always looking to connect with more camera crew, filmmakers and production people.

I’m particularly keen to hear from FLINTA creatives and people from underrepresented backgrounds, as I’d love to build more thoughtful, collaborative and inclusive crews.

I’d love to hear from people working across camera, lighting, sound, editing, production, directing, photography and behind the scenes roles. Whether you’re established, freelance, early in your career or looking for more on-set experience, I’d love to know who you are and what you do.
